Audio described play - Weston Playhouse- August 16, 2017

09 June 2017

Once again, The Vermont Council of the Blind is sponsoring a one day trip to The Weston Playhouse on August 16, 2017. We will meet at the Java Babas , 57 Pond Street in the Okemo Market Place, in Ludlow, VT 05149 for lunch at 11 AM. Lunch will be a sandwich, salad, wrap, soup, or quiche, a soft drink, and a dessert. We will then proceed to The Weston Playhouse for a 2 PM matinee of “The Music Man”.
This is a play about an itinerant musical instrument salesman and his stop at a small Iowa town. While he is busily trying to convince the townspeople to purchase instrument, he is being captivated by the town. Who wins? We will hear such classic songs as, “Seventy-six Trombones”, “Till There Was You,” and “Marion The Librarian.”
The cost for lunch and the theater ticket is $30.00 per person. As always, drivers of the visually impaired are the guests of The Vermont Council.
Send your check, payable to VCB, as soon as possible, but no later than July 15, to:
