Hike up Snake Mountain - October 1

Join DBVI and Friends for an autumn hike up
Snake Mountain near Middlebury

What: Hike up Snake Mountain with other blind and visually impaired Vermonters, friends and family, guide dogs, and volunteers from VT Adaptive Ski and Sports. Snake Mountain is a 4-mile round trip moderate hike with mostly a wide trail and excellent footing. Stunning views await you at the top.
Where: Meet at the parking lot on Mountain Road in Addison VT, near the intersection of VT Routes 17 and 22. We will send you driving directions.
When: Sunday October 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. We’ll hike to the top, eat lunch (bring your own) and be down by 2 p.m. or so. If you have doubts about the weather, call Jean’s cell phone (802)309-3305.
How: Please pre-register early so we know to expect you and how many volunteers we will need! Call DBVI Burlington at 1-800-708-7703 by Thursday September 28.
Rides: There are several cars coming from the Burlington area, so car-pooling is an option. Cars also likely from the Rutland area. You can call VABVI in your area for volunteer drivers. Please let us know if you want to come and we will try to help with rides.
